Better Than Money

Last night it was a coworkers birthday. We got him some cake, and did the candle thing. He's part of a lovely, large family hailing from parts of Africa, and they never really celebrated birthdays. When we told him to make a wish he looked confused - He had never, in 26 years, made a wish! Not when blowing out candles, not at 11:11, on a shooting star or in a well. He spent awhile to think of his first wish. I told him if hes never wished before its just gotta come true - cash it in, buddy. cash it in
